I am with Dennis on internal linking which is one of the SEO technique you shouldn't take for granted. In any case, great write up on SEO. Oh, by the way, nice makeover here. One suggestion though, get yourself a decent logo as the current one is not blending very nicely with your theme design. Sorry for the critique but that's just my 4 cents. Typically when I write my own blog posts I put very little emphasis on the on-site SEO factors, my theme handles that. I put up posts for readers rather than search engines, but with a large network of backlinks my site easily ranks for many keywords currently solely due to the juice already flowing into my homepage which my website's internal links distribute quite thoroughly (don't trust toolbar PR).
