Thanks Peter, The best one's I have seen is promoting affiliate programs or ebooks. Right now the ebook on my site pays well at times. But the key is looking long term and building your base. When You have thousands of subscribers like John Chow and Shoemoney You can sell anything.

Hi Larry, You've given very good advice on monetizing here. Lots of people tend to do this when they are not ready for it. Like you said building and getting to know your blogging community and beefing up your contents are top priority before you think about monetizing.
