I got real interested when I had a proxy listing site made and started to see My google adsense earnings take off.
What is a Proxy?
A Proxy is a special kind of Gateway, acting like a Server when being accessed by a Client. However, instead of servicing a request from a client, the Proxy forwards the request to a Server, waits for the Server’s response, and then sends it back to the client. A Proxy is often combined with other typical Gateway functionality, such as Firewall or Cache.
When you surf through any reputed web proxy, you actually hide your true internet identity which is known as IP address from various harmful sources such as hackers, spyware, adware, trojans etc.
When a client requests a page, the request is sent to the proxy server, which relays it to the site. When the request is received from the site, it is forwarded back to the user. Proxy servers can be used to log internet use and block access to prohibited sites.
Proxy Websites are very easy to use. You type your URL you want to visit into the surf box and click to browse. It’s as easy as that!
The downside is as soon as you find a great proxy it will get blocked.
A proxy specializing in anonymous surfing, however, uses its own IP address in place of yours in every outgoing request.
Filters are now being used everywhere to block certain sites from being reached, accessed by both students and employees however with the development of proxies this did not last long. Proxies are websites which allow you to surf the Internet with a buffer, basically a proxy server will hide your IP address while providing you with information.
What a lot of the proxy website owners are doing is as soon as they get blocked they make another one. But from what I hear the Money they make from the ads are worth it.
I plan on making a few more in the near future.
Haha yup I remember having a couple proxies each making nearly $5 from Adsense alone.
BTW do you know how to get traffic to an image hosting site? Just created one and would like to see how it goes.

proxy might get alot of traffic but :
1. you must have about 1TB of bandwidth (i have 1TB for my 500 unickday proxy)
2. you will get about 3-4 cents for click , its sucks
Yeah, the click $ does kinda suck a bit. I've gotten about $6 for 3k unique impressions, not too shabby for my first attempt as a proxy owner but I would have loved more.
